	European corn borer European corn borer (ECB) feeds on all above-ground parts of the corn plant. ECB can produce single, double or multiple generations in a single season. First-generation ECB causes whorl damage, while second-generation ECB tunnels through the stalk, shank and ear of corn. HERCULEX® Insect Protection shields your corn from first- and secondgeneration ECB, protecting your yield from this damaging pest.
	Corn rootworm The USDA estimates that corn rootworm causes $1 billion in lost revenue each year, which includes $800 million in yield loss and $200 million in treatment costs, making it the costliest pest in corn. 	Western bean cutworm This increasingly troublesome pest feeds on developing ears, directly impacting yields and grain quality. 	Black cutworm Black cutworm is the most damaging cutworm species in corn. Larvae sever plants from their roots, near the soil line, reducing crop stands and lowering yields.
